The East Alabama Cycling Club is a collection of riders of all abilities, from the novice enthusiast to the seasoned pro. Through rides and other events we seek to promote a safe and fun atmosphere to grow as a cyclist.

EACC began in the spring of 2003 to promote cycling and push for a Rails-to-Trails restoration of the railbed that carried the Johnny Ray train between Opelika, Lafayette, and Roanoke in the early 20th century. This initiative became the club's annual century supporting Parkinson's Disease through the Davis Phinney Foundation. In 2017 EACC partnered with the Opelika Bicycle Advisor Board to transition the event into their hands.
