Adventurous cyclists,
It’s time to make yer plans for the annual, October Weekend.
Tanglefoot Trail Weekend
October 11–13, 2019
We're returning to Mississippi, this time to New Albany and the Tanglefoot Trail. The Tanglefoot is Mississippi's newest and longest rail-trail, 44 miles long from New Albany in the north to Houston in the south. The route was first created by the Chickasaw Indians, who named it the King's Highway. The railroad line was built by Col. William C. Falkner, great grandfather of the author, William Faulkner, who was born in New Albany before moving to Oxford.
